No, the adjustable sunshades are not designed to provide total blackout. Their adjustable slats allow you to modulate light and effectively reduce heat and ’glare, but a slight passage of light always remains between the slats. If your main goal is ’complete blackout (for example for a bedroom), the roller shutter will be more suitable. However, for living spaces or large glazed bays, the BSO remains the best solution to enjoy natural daylight while maintaining excellent thermal comfort.
